PostHeaderIcon Northern Dynasty Mining (TSX:NDM) – its hidden secret…

Northen Dynasty Mining has a hidden secret that few know about. It has the power of Astrology working for it.

Northern Dynasty Mining (TSX:NDM) is a classic textbook case of Astrology at work. The company started trading on a recognized financial exchange back in 2007. The following image depicts the planetary placements on the day it started trading. Note the odd looking shape that I have outlined in yellow on this horoscope. This pattern is what Astrologers call a ‘KITE’ and of all the patterns out there, this one is uber-powerful.

Northern Dynasty has been to hell and back what with its battles involving the EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers. In my mineral exploration days I had a brief run-in with the Army Corps of Engineers and believe me – not a fun bunch of people. But despite all, NDM keeps surviving. This is the harmonious energies from the KITE formation at work in the background.

I analyze stocks using the 1937 McWhirter method. Simply put, I look for transiting planets to pass by the corner points of horoscope patterns and I also look for transiting Sun and Mars to pass by the natal Sun and natal Mars positions.

At one point in 2011, NDM was trading at the $21 level. But then, share price melted down. My analysis shows that this peak and subsequent reversal came as Mars and Sun both passed by the apex of the KITE pattern at 3 Pisces. This is classic Astrology at work.

In early 2016, the situation appeared grim when the share price hit 30 cents. Quite a tumble from $21 in 2011 to be sure. But, white knight investors came to the rescue and invested heavily in the company. Again transits of the corners of the KITE came into play. As the stock was hitting 30 cents, Mars was passing the natal Sun position. In mid-2016, the share price started to rally with determination, just as Sun and Venus were passing the corner of the KITE home to natal Moon and natal Mars.

Mid to late February, 2017 will see Sun transit the natal Node position. Coming into June,we will see Sun transit past the corner of the KITE where Sun and Mars reside. At each of these critical corner point transits, I will be looking for a price reaction. I doubt very much if price will suffer a melt-down at these transits. Rather, these transits could see sharp accelerations in trend to the upside. When using Astrology, it is critical that one use a suitable trend indicator such as the DMI (Directional Movement Indicator).

It gives me quite a thrill these days to be using chart indicators and Astrology to analyze stocks and commodities. Back in the day when I was a retail Investment Advisor I started down the road towards my CFA designation. Sadly, I had to withdraw after Level 2. I could not take the pompous arrogance any longer. Fast forward to today and I am happy to say that Astrology good and well warned of the 2008 market meltdown while the CFA Institute sat by with wide-eyed amazement as their dividend discount models crashed and burned.

If this blog has grabbed your attention, I have a number of published books available that will enlighten you on the subject of Financial Astrology. Meantime, keep your eye on Northern Dynasty Mining – this company is going places powered by Astrology….

PostHeaderIcon Jupiter Stationary Retrograde and the DOW

Had you talked to me on Feb 2, I would have pointed out that on my chart of the Dow futures, the Wilder Volatility Stop was setting up to switch to a negative trend. But, yet on Feb 3, the Dow decided to gap up and close ~180 points above the Feb 2 close. This is a classic case of Astrology at work. The natal birth horoscope for the NYSE has Jupiter at 22 Libra. As of here and now, transiting Jupiter is making its conjunction with  that natal Jupiter location. What’s more, this week-end, Jupiter turns Retrograde.

This intrigued me enough that I scrolled back in time to see what happened the last time Jupiter turned Retrograde. That happened on May 10, 2016. In that May 2016 time frame, the Dow was losing steam, but suddenly it surges 200 points just as Jupiter is about to turn Retro. And again, today, we see Jupiter not only touching the natal Jupiter point, but also about to turn Retro and the Dow puts on a head of steam and moves up in a market that is looking like it may want to lose ground.

Such are the the subtle nuances of using Financial Astrology to look for coming inflection points (as I like to call them) on the markets.

Dow Jones and Jupiter Retrograde

PostHeaderIcon This 1921 Model Could Change Your Life….

As the above image shows, circular motion around the circumference of a circle can be translated into a cosine curve. This is not a new phenomenon. The mathematics relating circular motion to sinusoidal curves dates back to the ancient Babylonians. Our formal knowledge of this branch of mathematics reached a pinnacle with the work of Newton, Euler and others in the 1600s and 1700s.
Fourier

What if we had circles all of varying sizes being translated into sinusoidal curves? What if we combined the sinusoidal outputs and smoothed the outputs into one curve? Such was the question posed by mathematicians such as French thinker Joseph Fourier. His work opened the door to the notion of the Fourier sequence.

The Dow and Gann

The concept of a curve with some pattern to it then takes us into the realm of the stock market. In the late 1800s, Charles Dow was the first to postulate that there appeared to be a repetitive pattern to the Dow Index of 30 stocks. Those that followed, including W.D. Gann, made the connection to planetary motions and periodicities of pairs of planets. This opened the door to a full blown application of astrology and to people like McWhirter with her New Moon analysis.

Harmonics and Astronomy

Thanks to the work of W.D. Gann, it soon was laid down that there was a 20 year cycle behind the action of the markets. This 20 year cycle could be expressed as two 10 year cycles. These 10 year cycles then acted as the fundamental frequency, or First Harmonic. Gann refined this 20 year notion into the heliocentric synodic period of Saturn and Jupiter – which he dubbed his Master Cycle. The actual synodic period of these two great planets is 19.853 years and the half-period is 9.929 years.

Prof. Weston

In 1921 a person identified as Prof. Weston from Washington D.C. further analysed 600 months of Dow Jones data and using Fourier analysis and cosine mathematics he laid down the idea that the Dow Jones could be described by way of 4 (harmonics) cosine curves – a 20 month curve, a 28 month curve, a 10 month curve and a 14 month curve – all blended together.

He went on to describe how the 20 month curve begins in November of the 1st year of the 10 year cycle and another 20 month cycle begins in November of the 5th year of the 10 year cycle.
He said the 28 month cycles began in July of the 3rd and 7th years of the 10 year cycle.
The 10 month cycle begins in November of the 9th year of the 10 year cycle.
The 14 month cycle begins in September of the 10th year of the 10 year cycle.

Let’s test this Prof. Weston notion using the S&P 500. Jupiter and Saturn (heliocentric) were at conjunction in April 1981, thus marking the start of a Gann Master Cycle. Weston says a 20 month cycle should start in November 1981. The following chart illustrates this cycle – November 1981 through July 1983 = 20 months.

Weston says another 20 month cycle should start in November 1985 (fifth year of the 10 year cycle). The following chart illustrates this cycle – November 1985 through July 1987) = 20 months. As the following chart shows, the Weston 20 month cycle started just shortly after a key 1985 low and concluded mere weeks ahead of the a key price peak that culminated in the nasty 1987 crash.

Weston says a 10 month cycle will start in November of the 9th year (1989) of the 10 year half-Master cycle. Note how the end of this 10 month cycle landed within a week or so of a key market low.

And so it goes. This is exactly the type of stuff that I strive to share with subscribers to my Astrology E-Alert newsletter. The 1920s and 1930s were an amazing time. A handful of people with deep astrology knowledge came to understand the cycles that drive the financial markets. Sadly, this knowledge, starting in the 1940s, was swept aside by what I like to call the ‘academic crowd’. People at Yale and Harvard with too much time on their hands started to develop inane theories like the Efficient Market Hypothesis, Modern Portfolio Theory and the Efficient Frontier. Chart technical analysis was poo-pooed upon as being akin to voodo science.   This effort by the academics ended up laying the foundations for today’s modern investment industry. You know – the industry that makes billions of dollars every year by siphoning fees from Mr and Mrs Average Investor who are told to buy and hold as investing is for the long term. The industry that I was a part of from 2002-2007 until I got sick of the bullshit and the fee-grabbing nonsense.

My goal here at InvestingSuccess remains as it always has been – to ensure the science of astrology is not lost. To ensure that Mr and Mrs Average Investor have access to the basics of astrology so they can start to make better market timing decisions to sidestep major market pitfalls.

PostHeaderIcon Venus and the S&P 500

To the ancient Babylonians, Venus was called Ishtar – the Goddess of War. Subsequent civilizations including the Greeks, Romans, and even the Mayans all held Venus in high regard.

Today, Venus continues to be held in high regard – but by a very different crowd of people. The people I refer to are those who operate silently behind the curtain to move the financial markets when it suits them best.
The Venus heliocentric cycle is 225 days. That is, if you were standing on the Sun as a casual observer, you would see Venus make a complete revolution around the Sun in 225 days.

The Venus synodic cycle is 584 days in length. That is, as a casual observer here on Earth, if you take note of where Venus is located with respect to the constellations in the sky right here and now, you would see it return to that exact same location in 584 days.

When we speak of a Venus 584 day cycle there are two important parts of that cycle – the Inferior Conjunction and the Superior Conjunction.

At Inferior Conjunction, Venus is located between the Earth and the Sun as the above diagram shows.

Immediately following Inferior Conjunction, Venus becomes visible in the morning eastern sky. The ancients dubbed this occurrence the Morning Star. If any of you are familiar with Masonic Lodge ritual, you have heard of the Morning Star before. Venus will remain visible as a Morning Star for 263 days.

Venus Inferior

At Superior Conjunction, Venus is located on the far side of the Sun from Earth.

Venus Superior

Immediately following Superior Conjunction, Venus will appear in the western evening sky as the Evening Star for 263 days.

If you are doing the math, you are thinking that 263 + 263 does not equal 584. This is because there is a 58 day period at Superior Conjunction where Venus is not visible at all to the unaided human eye.

Let’s take a quick look at some past Venus activity.

In early January 2014, Venus made the transition from being visible as the Evening Star to being at Inferior Conjunction. So what happened to the markets in New York? The following chart shows you.

S&P 2014 Venus selloff

In late September 2014, Venus made the transition from being visible as the Morning Star to starting a Superior Conjunction event. So what happened to the markets in New York? The following chart shows you.

S&P late 2014 selloff

In my November 21st, 2014 E-Alert I stated that Venus would remain as an Evening Star until early August 2015 at which time it would enter Inferior Conjunction. I specifically stated …” circle this August timeframe on your calendars. Something will happen..”

And has something happened? Take a look at the following chart.

S&P August selloff

And so it goes with Venus. The average investor on the street knows nothing about Astrology. The average TV newsreader knows nothing about Astrology. The average Wall Street analyst knows nothing about Astrology. But…the market wizards behind the curtain do know a lot about Astrology and they use astrological timings with planets like Venus to manipulate markets.

This is the kind of stuff you will read about if you subscribe to my Astrology E-Alert newsletter. If you are a fairly active trader or investor and if you are seeking to enhance your knowledge of how Astrology is used to influence markets, give some thought to subscribing. If you want to take more decisive action and have me personally tutor you to bring you up to speed, I can do that too.

Don’t let the wizards behind the curtain have all the fun. Learn to play their game and level the playing field in your favor…..

PostHeaderIcon Mercury Retrograde and the Financial Markets

When I first started writing my thoughts on financial astrology, I approached the subject from the stance that astrology events impacted human emotion which in turn impacted buying and selling behavior on the markets.

I still believe this to be true, but I have broadened my stance somewhat.

If you were to step out onto a busy sidewalk in any major global city and ask 100 random people when Mercury was Retrograde or when Venus would be at Inferior Conjunction or when Mars would be passing 14 of Cancer you would be lucky to find but a handful of people who knew what you were asking them.

Is it then possible that behind the curtain in Chicago, London, New York there are clever people who orchestrate short term trend changes on the markets at these key astrology events? If the average man (investor) on the street is otherwise ignorant of astrology, such manipulative efforts could easily succeed. Fear and greed move markets and once the trend change has been orchestrated, fear and greed will take over to establish some momentum and some profit for those in control.

As a simple exercise, take a global stock index of your choosing. Overlay this chart with Mercury Retrograde events and see how well these events align to pivot swing points. Not all pivots are huge swings, but to a party trading large numbers of contracts these pivots would be money makers.

Take a look at some Commodity futures from the CBOT and overlay Mercury Retrograde events. You will see the same general alignment to pivot swing points.

There is more than just Mercury at work here. Consider also Venus cycles, Mars cycles and Moon cycles.

In my opinion, Astrology is the secret language of the select few who are in control of the financial markets. In my efforts as a writer and blogger, all I am trying to do is create a following of like-minded people who are interested in following some of these pivotal swings across stocks, commodities and indices. After all, why should only a select few enjoy all the spoils of astrology?

PostHeaderIcon 14 of Cancer – mysterious or what?

I recently had an opportunity to read The Harbinger by Rabbi Jonathan Cahn.

In his book, Cahn states that the birth date of America was the date George Washington was sworn in as President – April 30, 1789 in the morning hours around 9am.

Here is where my curiosity gets piqued. Here s where I dive off the deep end into the pool of astrology. On this swearing in date in 1789, the Moon in the horoscope wheel was passing 14 degrees of Cancer.

Where was the Sun on July 4, 1776 – the date recognized as American Independence Day ? Why, it was at 14 of Cancer.

Where was the Ascendant on May 19, 1789 at the founding date of the New York Stock Exchange? Why it was passing 14 of Cancer, of course.

Now, here is where things get weird. In the early 1500s, Spanish writer Bartolome de las Casas penned a narrative of Columbus’ discovery of the New World. He wrote that on the evening of October 11, 1492 Columbus and his party were anchored at sea and in the distance they saw flickering lights which they took to be fires burning. So, where was the Moon in the zodiac wheel on the evening of October 11, 1492? Why, yes…, it was at 14 Cancer.

Fast forward now to April 3, 1848 when a group of Chicago businessmen founded the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT). And where was the Moon on that morning when the corporate documents were being finalized and signed? Why, 14 of Cancer of course.

I am at a loss to explain this 14 of Cancer point. But, I can tell you that I have looked at it thoroughly and I have noted price inflection points on CBOT agricultural commodities do often align to dates when heliocentric Mercury, Mars and Venus pass 14 of Cancer. And, the entire McWhirter methodology is based on structuring monthly lunation charts with the Ascendant at 14 Cancer.

If anyone out there has some deeper ideas on 14 Cancer – I would enjoy hearing from you.

The following is an excerpt taken from the Jan 16, 2015 E-Alert:

A couple years back when I was doing astrology research in the British Library I stumbled upon a book by author Constance Brown. After presenting various thoughts on chart technical analysis, she took a hard left turn and started postulating on how musical tones might align to price behaviour on stocks and commodities.

Unfortunately, she was unable to explain this connection in a clear enough manner for me to grasp.
On a subsequent visit to Toronto, I happened into an independent bookstore where I found a book entitled Quadruvium – The Four Classical Liberal Arts of Number, Geometry, Music and Cosmology.

Believe me… I am not a musician. I play the radio and the CD player and not much else. But I have now scoured the pages of this Quadruvium book and I think I now see where Constance Brown was coming from with her musical theory.

Using a starting point of 261.62 Hertz (middle C), one can derive the scale of audible musical frequencies.

In the Jan 16th E-Alert, I presented numerous examples of stocks and commodities to show how frequencies can be used to define support and resistance levels. The following is one of those examples:

The following chart illustrates daily price action on Gold of late. In March 2014, with the stochastic in short term overbought territory Gold was struggling to get above the 1396.91 Hz frequency level. A sell signal followed shortly thereafter. In May 2014, Gold prices found support at the 1244.50 Hz frequency and a buy signal followed thereafter on the DMI and stochastic. In July 2014, price was struggling to get and stay above the 1318.51 Hz frequency. A technical sell signal followed thereafter. In October 2014, price was struggling to get above the 1244.5 Hz level and a sell signal resulted. In December 2014, a rally faltered as price stalled out at the 1244.5 Hz frequency level.

Support for Gold right now rests at the 1174.65 Hz level. Any violation of that support will see the 1108.73 Hz level come into play. I would be a buyer of Gold if price action could get and stay above the 1244.50 Hz level.

PostHeaderIcon USA natal history

the following is an excerpt from the Jan 9, 2015 E-alert, written while I was on vacation in Bisbee, Arizona:

Ask anyone when the birthday of America is – and they will quickly tell you July 4, 1776 – the date the Declaration of Independence was signed.

The other day I made an accidental find here in Bisbee, Arizona when I spotted on the bottom shelf in a dusty old antique shop a book by famed astrology Jim Lewis. Lewis and his contemporaries have done serious back-testing on the subject of America’s birth date and subsequent dates in history that occurred at hard aspects to the birth date. What they have concluded is that the most appropriate birth date for America is actually July 6, 1775. This is the date the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia issued a formal written Declaration of War against England’s King George III.

I will be using this birth date in my studies of significant turning points in American history. One longer cycle of time that I follow is that of heliocentric Uranus which takes 84 years to orbit the Sun. If one traces the movement of Uranus and its long cycles, it can be seen that from a start date of 1775 – a cycle of Uranus takes us to the events in time aligning to the election of Abraham Lincoln and the subsequent Civil War. Add another Uranus cycle and we land right in the midst of the Second World War. Add another Uranus cycle and we land in 2027. This is interesting in light of the 18.6 year economic cycle that I have talked about at length in various E-Alerts and in my published books. The year 2027 is slated to be the bottom (or end) of the current economic cycle that started in late 2008. I will leave it to you to speculate on what 2027 might bring in light of the past 2 Uranus cycles having aligned to wars.

The following is an excerpt of material provided to subscribers in my Jan 9, 2015 E-Alert:

Soybean futures started trading for the first time on October 5, 1936. Thus, the transiting Sun will make a 0 degree hard aspect to Soybeans natal Sun early in October of each year. The following chart illustrates daily nearest Soybean prices.

Soybeans Jan 2015

I have overlaid this chart with the 0, 90 and 180 degree aspects of transiting Sun and transiting Mars to the natal Sun position. Note how back in April-June, 2014 Mars was Retrograde and this spent a good deal of time in and around the Soybeans natal Sun position. This event coincided with a price peak on Soybeans. More recently, Soybeans exhibited a trend shift at the end of September, just as transiting Sun was passing the natal sun location. This trend shift was confirmed by the Slow Stochastic. A price inflection point was registered in early November as Mars made a 90 degree aspect to the natal Sun location.

To add further to my observations in my Dec 10th E-Alert, please note that geocentric Mars will be 0 degrees to Uranus on March 5, 2015. Also at this time, Mars will be 120 degrees to Jupiter and Uranus will be 120 degrees to Jupiter.

** It is reasonable to then expect a significant development on Soybeans at this early March timeframe. **

Follow-up: The following chart shows that in fact something did happen to Soybeans price at or near March 5, 2015. Once again, McWhirter astrology prevails !

PostHeaderIcon Mercury – Small but Mighty…

The following is a shortened excerpt of material was presented to subscribers in the January 2, 2015 E-Alert.

Mercury is the smallest planet in our solar system. Mercury is also the closest to the Sun. As a result of its proximity to the powerful gravitational pull of the Sun, Mercury moves very quickly – completing an orbit of the Sun in 88 days.

Scientists at NASA have now concluded that Mercury does in fact have a di-polar magnetic field. This field is strong enough to deflect solar wind particles that have emanated from the Sun. These solar winds then carry on towards the Earth. Scientists have also determined that Mercury has an eccentric orbit in which its distance from the Sun will range from 46 million kms to 70 million kms. When Mercury is nearer to the Sun (ie… 46 million kms away), it is moving at its fastest (~56.6 kms per second). When Mercury is farther from the Sun (ie… 70 million kms away), it is moving slower (~38.7 kms per second). The point where it is nearest to the Sun is called Perihelion. The point where it is farthest from the Sun is called Aphelion.

One must also consider the Superior and Inferior Conjunctions of Mercury. When Mercury is between the Earth and the Sun, it is in Inferior Conjunction. When Sun is between Earth and Mercury, then Mercury is said to be at Superior Conjunction. It helps to think of Mercury at Inferior Conjunction as being the start of a new 88 day cycle.

The following charts of the S&P 500 and also of Gold illustrate the influence of Mercury.

I have overlaid these charts with Mercury greatest east and West elongation points (labelled E and W), Mercury Perihelion and Aphelion points (labelled P and A) as well as Superior and Inferior Conjunctions (labelled Inf and Sup).
